Activities on the campsite

For the little ones

Your little ones will be able to have fun, under the sole responsibility of their parents, at a play area designed especially for them.

Children love coming to this play area to blow off steam and make new friends during their holiday!

Table tennis table (paddles and ball available at the snack bar).

The petanque pits (lit-up in the evenings) are iconic on a campsite in France and holidaymakers meet up here to play against one another and have some fun.

Bouncy castle

As well as the play area, your little treasures from the age of 2 can now have a ball on the campsite’s brand-new bouncy castle, still under the sole responsibility of their parents.

Swimming pool

Guests on the campsite will love the swimming pool, with a superb view of the surrounding area!

There are sun loungers and parasols around the 50 m² (10.5 m x 5 m) pool, with a progressive depth ranging between 1 m and 1.6 m.

It is open from 9am to 7pm, surrounded by secure fencing and with an access gate, in accordance with current regulations.

Parents are responsible for keeping an eye on their children, and for hygiene reasons, swimming shorts are not permitted.

Entertainment in July-August

Petanque tournament

Once a week, there is a petanque tournament for adults and children.
You’re guaranteed to have some fun and everyone is welcome to take part, whatever your age and level of ability.
There are prizes for the top 3. Maybe you’ll be one of the winners!

Laser tag

Once a week, the campsite organises the chance to take part in Laser Tag. An activity leader will take care of the organisation and provide all the necessary equipment (laser tags, helmets and hair nets). Children will be going head-to-head in teams in the great outdoors!

Welcome cocktail

Every Sunday, the campsite offers a welcome cocktail to campers at 6pm.

It is an opportunity to get to know you and the other campers, and to tell you what’s happening during the week (activities and entertainment).

“Guess that song” evenings

Once a week, come and spend the evening with DJ Mickael.

A very entertaining evening with great music and a family-friendly and enjoyable atmosphere.

Pizza and Mussels & Chips Evenings

Come and enjoy these evenings and have some fun with other campers without having to think about what’s for dinner, we’ll take care of everything!

The village of Vesseaux

At the heart of the Monts d’Ardèche Regional Nature Park

Vesseaux is in the south of the French department of Ardèche, 10 minutes from Aubenas, capital of southern Ardèche, and 20 minutes from Privas, the prefecture of Ardèche.

Vesseaux is a village in the Bassin d’Aubenas federation of municipalities and is at the heart of the Monts d’Ardèche Regional Nature Park.

Just a few kilometres from Vesseaux, there are countless classified “Charming Villages”, and superb natural and cultural places to visit. The geographic location of this quiet and easily accessible village makes it the perfect base camp for exploring Ardèche:

  • The Ardèche Gorges, Chauvet Caves 2, Vallon Pont d’Arc are all less than 30 minutes away.
  • The Ardèche Mountains, Gerbier de Jonc mountain, Issarlès Lake and Ray Pic waterfall are all less than an hour away.
  • You can get to the Rhône Valley in 45 minutes, and the Ardèche Verte is 1.5 hours away.

The “sentier paysager”

Above the village of Vesseaux, there is a 4.3-km trail with a 360° panoramic view down below.

This family-friendly hiking trail is made available by the Association des Amis de Vesseaux. The “sentier paysager” is accessible to all, there aren’t many uphill sections and the majority of the trail is shaded.
